Watching the Shrek movies Puss was my favorite character out of all of them. I loved the quick on his feet kitty. So I was really wanting to see the movie of how Puss became Puss in Boots. Sadly I was let down. As they follow the theme of throwing multiple fairy tales around in the story it just doesn't seem to have the humor and laughter that is found in the Shrek movies. The 'adventure' if you would even call it that falls short of entertaining. Though I do admire how they have the cat with pride and love.
Another cat they add to the mix is Kitty Soft Paws. Who is never seen again after this movie ends. It really is sad that she is only in this movie and not in the rest of Puss in Boots life but Shrek was made first so they can't really redo that part.
I will admit they got GREAT actors and actress's to play the voices. But over all I can only give this movie a 5.

A little bit about me...
I have always been an avid reader of
mostly the classics: Beowulf, The Iliad and anything written by the
master, William Shakespeare. In the last few years, I became a huge fan
of James Patterson, Stephen King and Robin Cook.
However....
My
favorite book of all was, and always will be, The Count of Monte Cristo
by Alexander Dumas. The revenge on all those who hurt and betrayed
Edmond Dantes and the incredible roller coaster ride his journey takes
you on has always intrigued me. My love for this book is what sparked my
desire to write my debut novel in my Eviscerating the Snake series,
"Accountable to None." With a modern setting to the tale, I wanted to
delve into just what lengths a person was willing to go to as they
attempted to seek justice on their own for heinous acts perpetrated on
them. She also is the author of "Ramblings of a Mad Southern Woman".
Zero Balance is the second novel in the Eviscerating the Snake series.
A lovely easy read full of fierce emotional poems and engaging short stories. Ashley continues to show just what a wonderful writer she is with her ability to pull her reader into the mind of the characters she is sharing with them. Love, Anger, Hope, Despair. You get a taste of everything. And don't forget revenge. Each poem or story connects your mind, heart and soul with the character telling you the passage. A very enjoyable read and fairly quickly. Great for before bed relaxation or during a nice hot bath.
Nine months ago, I served my own personal brand of punishment on those
that kept their silence when I was raped.
Nine
months ago, I was the voice that found justice for a beautiful young
life, viciously slain in her prime many years ago, and helped her
grieving mother to finally find peace.
Nine months ago, I saw this rapist/killer escorted to jail in handcuffs and now, I reign from his old throne.
Nine months ago, my horrid nightmares were finally quieted after eviscerating the snake’s body and crushing its evil head.
Two
weeks before the trial of Olin Kemper was scheduled to begin, the
dreams came back. Haunting, disturbing dreams that I can’t escape nor
understand.
A week ago, I realized that I didn’t kill the snake; I just wounded it.
And it’s back with a vengeance and after us all.

It is very rare that I enjoy a sequel more then I enjoy the first book but this one blew me away and left me with so many questions. When is the next book coming? I MUST KNOW THE ANSWERS!!!
Nine months can change a lot in a persons life and the time can also make one feel safe again after going through something that strains so much on the mind and body. But what would you do if nine months later it started again?
Zero Balance brings out the darkness to a whole new depth. You find yourself sinking deeper and deeper into the minds of the characters and seeing just how far they are willing to go to make it all end. To finally bring it over.
Ashley is a talented writer that can and will have you turning each page with adrenaline and anticipation for what is to be around the next corner. I recommend you add this to your shelf. You won't be disappointed.
Glenn Langohr resides in southern California where he spends his time doing what
he loves best, reading and writing. He started writing from prison on drug
charges and hasn't stopped since. He is an usher at his church and loves to
reach out to other prisoners to help them turn their lives around. Glenn is
married to his dream girl, Sanette, who plays Annette in one of his novels.
The author will gift his books FREE from the Kindle store to those who
can't afford it...
The California Prison System houses a mixture of Mexican cartel members,
Mexican mafia, Bloods, Crips, and thousands of other street gangs
fighting for control and the author turns this story into a pulp
thriller of true crime.
Glenn Langohr takes you on a journey
back into prison as he remembers a prison war with the Mexican Mafia
before his release date. Days later, he got released. His friend he was
in the deadly riot with didn't. He went to Pelican Bay's Super Max. The
story follows Glenn Langohr years later as he visits his friend in
Pelican Bay during a prisoner developed hunger strike against sadistic
and cruel guards who get off on their isolation and enjoy adding
violence to their torture.
My Review
How many of us look at a prison and think about how unjustified the system is? Prisoners get 3 meals a day, prisoners get free board, free cable, free education if they want it. How many of us look at a prison and think about how glad you are those vial people are not on the street anymore? Yes that vial child who ran away from an abusive alcoholic father and got hooked on street drugs because he had no where else to turn and ended up getting caught in a bust by the cops and labeled with people he didn't even know. Yes I'm sooo glad he is off the streets as well...
Glenn has been in the horror that we don't understand. For years he walked the yards and cell blocks of California's prisons. He has the knowledge of what goes on behind the bars and that we can not see nor hear about. Bringing light to that we know little about unless you've been there.
As you read page after page of the memories and thoughts of Glenn in the present and in the past you can feel the hurt and struggle it holds. I knew what was said about prisoners, guards, and the whole system was not as many suspect but I never knew just how different and similar they really were until this book.
A truly eye opening experience and a knowledge changing lesson.
M.C.V. Egan is the pen name chosen by Maria Catalina Egan the author of The Bridge of Deaths. Catalina was born in Mexico City, Mexico in 1959, one of eight children. From a very young age she became obsessed with the story of her maternal Grandfather, Cesar Agustin Castillo, mostly the story of how he died. She only spent her childhood in Mexico. Her father became an employee of The World Bank in Washington D.C.
From the early 1970s at the age of 12 she moved with her entire family to the United States. She was already fluent in Southern English as she had spent one school year in the town of Pineville, Louisiana with her grandparents. There she won the English award; ironically being the only one who had English as a second language in her class. In the D.C. suburbs she attended various private Catholic schools and graduated from Winston Churchill HS in Potomac, Maryland in 1977. She attended Montgomery Community College, where she changed majors every semester. She also studied in Lyons, France at the Catholic University for two years. In 1981, due to an impulsive young marriage to a Viking ( The Swedish kind, not the football player kind) Catalina moved to Sweden where she resided for five years and taught at a language school for Swedish, Danish, and Finnish businesspeople. She returned to the USA where she has been living ever since. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Swedish.
Mrs. Egan has worked for various companies and holds an Insurance license for the State of Florida. Not her favorite field but involves very nice folks and makes money!
Maria Catalina Egan is married and has one son, who together with their five pound Chihuahua makes her feel like a fulltime mother. Although she would not call herself an Astrologer she has taken many classes and taught a few beginner classes in Astrology. This is one of her many past times when she is not writing or researching.
She celebrated her 52nd birthday on July 2nd 2011 and gave herself self-publishing The Bridge of Deaths as a gift; she never submitted it to anyone prior to this decision and has enjoyed the very positive feedback.
What happens in the moments leading up to disaster? "The Bridge of Deaths" follows the story of a true life event of a plane crash shortly before World War II of an international meeting of many individuals. Compiling a work of intrigue based on those who lost their lives and what they may have been seeking.
Join Bill and Maggie in 2010 London as through their love and curiosity they unravel the secrets from known and little known events in the 1930s. Journey to Denmark on August 15th 1939, at the brink of World War II where a British Airways LTD airplane crashed and sunk. Five deaths were reported: two Standard Oil of New Jersey employees, a German Corporate Lawyer, an English member of Parliament, and a crew member for the airline. The reader walks away with his/her ultimate conclusions.
~*~*~*~The Review~*~*~*~
Before I begin let me tell you...I am a history fanatic! I love to learn about history and could probably lose myself in hours in every history book you ever presented to me. That being said this book has a lot of history. The facts and details make a up a large portion of this book and yes in some areas people may tend to get more history then they bargained for.
At some points you do tend to lose the story among the abundance of facts and details but I am one of those that finds every fact and detail adds something somewhere. Either it will help you understand the reasons behind why or it will make you question why.
Either way I believe those who need a good look into the past or those that just want to read something to really open your eyes and your mind to the world would love this book. I highly recommend you give it a read.
Now is your chance to win yourself one of these three cool prizes!!!!
3 Lucky people will be walking away with a great prize. Will you win the ebook? Or the gift card? Or will you be the lucky one to get the signed copy of Bridge of Deaths!!!
